Habitat Flats controls several thousand acres of some of the finest managed,
trophy whitetail deer hunting in the state. The Quality Deer Management plan
in place and hunting success has been proven on these properties for over a
decade. Coupled with the Missouri Department of Conservation's decision to
allow only bucks with 4 points on one side or more to be legal...this has
fastracked the area to be a hotspot for big bucks.

Our resources consist of a variety of habitats; food plots, hardwood timber,
wooded draws, agricultural land, and CRP. Swan Lake National Wildlife
Refuge and Fountain Grove Conservation Area provide the deer with a
sanctuary to get some age under their belt and are legendary for
producing trophy class whitetails.

With properties bordering and adjacent to these areas, we are fortunate to
take full advantage of their benefits. Missouri deer tags are purchased
over the counter, so a lottery draw like they have in other states will
not stand between you and the whitetail experience of a lifetime.

Our recommendation is that only bucks that are 130" or bigger are harvested.
However, beauty is in the eye or the beholder, so if you happen to shoot one
that is smaller, there will not be a penalty.
